RGB/Hexadecimal Tint Calculator
Yes, yes, there isn't any such thing as a percentage tint of an RGB value. However, here in the real world, brand specifications routinely give percentage tints of base colors, and when those colors are applied to Office programs or web pages, we need an RGB result. Here is a handy calculator that will give you the visual equivalent of a percentage tint.
When you apply transparency in Illustrator or PowerPoint, this calculator can also give you the final RGB values that result, assuming the transparent area is over a white background. If you apply 30% transparency, enter 70% into this calculator, if you apply 52% transparency, use 48% here. You can also use it to convert between hexadecimal and RGB. © 2013 Brandwares
